New York eHealth Collaborative Executive Director Valerie Grey has been named among the 2019 City & State New York’s Above & Beyond Award Winners.
Each year, City & State New York honors 30 women who exhibit exemplary leadership in their fields and have made important contributions to society in the sectors of business, public service, media, nonprofit, and organized labor.
Grey commented on the greater purpose of leading an organization focused on healthcare information exchange.
“It really is about the mission of ensuring that people’s comprehensive medical information is available, because it can make such a huge difference. If (healthcare) providers can have what they need, when they need it, where they need it, I think we can make amazing strides in terms of better healthcare and reduced costs.”
