On Monday, the New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC) will begin testing whether three Regional Health Information Organizations—Hixny, which covers the Capitol District, HealthlinkNY, which covers the Southern Tier and the Hudson Valley, and HealtheConnections, which covers the Syracuse region—can, in fact, talk to the Statewide Health Information Network of New York, or SHIN-NY, and, by extension, one another.
