At the end of 2018 NYeC honored Northwell Health CEO Michael Dowling at our 2018 Gala & Awards. As a part of his award acceptance speech, Mr. Dowling shared an inspiring and optimistic vision of the future of healthcare with our attendees.
“The future is something we can look forward to with major progress,” said Mr. Dowling. “And there is a famous quote that I like…because I think the world is full of extraordinary possibilities. I think we’re only touching the edge of what we can do. And that’s a good thing. It requires that we have to look at things differently. And as the quote says ‘it’s not what you look at that matters. It’s what you see.’”
