Two upstate New York health information exchange (HIE) organizations will merge to form a larger network known as HealthlinkNY, covering eleven countries in the state. The combination of Southern Tier Healthlink (STHL) and Taconic Health Information Network and Community (THINC), which together span areas of the Hudson Valley and Catskill Mountains, will allow providers to access patient date from a single, secure portal that promotes care coordination and cost savings.
