Call for Speakers: New York’s Digital Health Conference 2012

New York, NY – On February 28th, 2012, the New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC) opened the application period for those interested in speaking at its 2012 Digital Health Conference, to take place on October 15-16, at New York City’s Pier Sixty.

At NYeC’s inaugural 2011 conference—the first event of its kind in New York City—over 600 healthcare providers, healthcare technology companies, IT startups, public officials, hospital leaders, and others convened to discuss the latest health IT initiatives, share best practices, celebrate achievements, and promote the advancement of healthcare innovation through technology.

Building on the success of 2011, NYeC intends to expand its program lineup for 2012 and invites speakers from across the healthcare industry to apply.

Target topics for the Digital Health Conference 2012 include but are not limited to: healthcare innovations and progress, health information exchange, chronic care, Medicaid redesign, Meaningful Use, Health Homes, healthcare apps, and software solutions. We will present academic research, and in-the-field experience, sharing best practices and displaying emerging health IT tools. All ideas for speaking topics or presentations are welcome, and the best, and most relevant, will be invited to speak.

The deadline for speaker applications is March 23rd, 2012.
